About The Event
About Ilze Strautins
A fine art etching series "Sleeping Beauty" that was created by Ilze, is in the collection of the Applied Art School of Zurich Switzerland. Her artworks are also held in private collections in Latvia and Australia.
Ilze has illustrated 5 Latvian language books, and has been an artist for over 50 years. In recent years she has started painting in acrylics, as well as block printing lino cuts of Latvian symbols and designs.
Ilze was born in Adelaide to Latvian parents.
About Peter Coombe
Peter's work dazzles the viewer with it's bright colours amazing patterns. Peter has been working with tomboy stich art and creating stunning images with the it since the 1970s.
His work was also featured in the SALA festival in 2010. His work is held in collections all across Australia.
Peter is from Adelaide.
