Don commenced drawing and his involvement in art, only as he approached an early retirement.

In the twenty plus years since, he has produced numerous works and, happily has sold many. 

However, the passage of time is making itself apparent - a bit of 'hand shake' here, the spine objecting there, (to the stand-up easel).  

Hey, such is life! as someone said.

Old artists never die or fade away, they just don't get hung! and hopefully never 'hanged'?. 

Don thought he would get in first and get an exhibition hung while that remained an in-play option.
