About The Event
A bit about the two artists whose work is being displayed.
Carol Clue
Carol Clue is a founding member of the Gawler Community Gallery. The gallery opened in 2006,
As a committee member she was the first Exhibition Co-ordinator for the gallery.
In 2023 Carol was awarded Honorary Life Membership.
Her current exhibition is comprised of a varied selection of her art works, demonstrating her diverse love and passion for all art forms.
The works on display Include, watercolour, acrylics, pen and wash, textile pieces, pottery and Illuminated letters.
Carol will be donating a portion of her sales to The Royal Flying Doctor Service, whom she supports'.
Pat Low
Pat Low's artistic journey was initially with pottery, which she spent more than 30 years specialising in. However more recently she has taken to painting with varied mediums, as well as experimenting with texiles.
Her current exhibtion is called "Journey to Lake Eyre". In 2008 she went on an 80th birthday trip to Lake Eyre and on the way she saw the Flinders Ranges, the dog fence and the beautiful desert country. The trip included a flight over Lake Eyre, however at that time there wasn't a great deal of water in Lake Eyre.
This exhbition endevours to capture some of the essence of the beauty she witnessed.
